Ouriou Susan is an author and translator. She has been nominated three times for the Governor General's Literary Award for Translation, winning in 2009 for Pieces of Me by Charlotte Gingras; has appeared four times on IBBY's honour list for translations; and was a runner-up for the John Glassco Literary Translation Prize. She is a former director of the Banff International Literary Translation Centre, and currently lives in Clagary.
